Terms of Use
Effective date: June 10, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Read Rocket app and the read.lorehex.co website, operated by LoreHex. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them.
1. License.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Read Rocket on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. Unless stated otherwise, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
2. For grown-ups.
Read Rocket is intended to be set up and purchased by an adult. Subscription actions in the app sit behind a parental gate. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the app and your device.
3. Free trial.
Read Rocket Pro includes a 14-day free trial, starting the first time the app is launched. During the trial you have full access to the app. No payment information is required to start the trial — it is managed by the app, not by the App Store, and is available once per device.
4. Subscription terms.
Read Rocket Pro is an auto-renewable subscription: $49.99 per month or $299.99 per year (prices in USD; local prices may vary and are shown in the App Store at purchase).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase (or as updated with notice per App Store rules).
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Canceling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies — request them at https://reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. What we promise (and don't).
We work hard to make Read Rocket an effective way to learn to read, but every child is different, and we make no guarantee of specific educational outcomes. The app and site are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
6. Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LoreHex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim.
7. Changes.
We may update the app, prices (with notice through the App Store), or these terms. Material changes to these terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
8. Contact.
